Wednesday Evening Yoga

Wednesday evenings   7.30- 8.45pm A general class particularly suitable for people with some experience of yoga 

DATES:   Class in person currently suspended, but running on Zoom  


Numbers limited for good distancing and booking essential.

Held in the community hall, please wear a face covering as you enter and settle and also leave class.

One way system in operation at centre: enter through main entrance at front of building, sanitise hands at reception and walk through to hall. Leave through door at back of hall, sanitising hands on way out.

Please bring a mat and blanket for the relaxation (no shared equipment).

Cleaning and disinfecting of floor and surfaces by caretaker  immediately prior to each class.

Please don’t come to class if you or a member of your household are displaying any symptoms of Covid 19 or have returned from a country where you are required to quarantine or are awaiting test results.

 Classes include yoga exercises/postures (asana), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation. This is not a one-size fits all sort of class. Classes are varied and never repetitive so you can develop your yoga at your own pace and constantly discover new practices and approaches with suggestions for modifications where needed.

What to bring/wear:

Wear comfortable clothes for stretching in yoga asanas and bring a non slip mat and a blanket for the final relaxation. Yoga is traditionally done barefoot.

Cost & payment :

£57 for a block of 6X  80 minute classes; ‘drop in’ sessions on request @ £12 each. Payment can be  BACS, cheque or cash.

  • NB: 6 week enrolment allows you the flexibility to mix and match general classes, attending a different session/ venue on weeks where you can’t make your regular class.
